Open GP kids

Open competition for kids up to 14 years old.

No prior knowledge is required to participate and staff will be available to give our drivers tips and advice to develop according to their own conditions.

The new season starts on January 27, 2026! Be there from the start to collect as many points as possible.

Each race is run as an individual race but counts towards the Sodi World Series, which is an international karting series where you collect points and get ranked. Register your driver profile on the SWS (Sodi World Series) website here

OGP Kids 2026

The season starts in January. See below for all scheduled competition dates in 2026. Competitions will be held every other month at our facilities in Gothenburg and Kungälv.

Race 1: Tuesday, January 27 – Kungälv
Race 2: Tuesday, February 24 – Gothenburg
Race 3: Tuesday, March 31 – Kungälv
Race 4: Tuesday, April 28 – Gothenburg
Race 5: Tuesday, May 26 – Kungälv
Race 6: Tuesday, June 30 – Gothenburg
Race 7: Tuesday, July 28 – Kungälv
Race 8: Tuesday, August 25 – Gothenburg
Race 9: Tuesday, September 29 – Kungälv
Race 10: Tuesday, October 27 – Gothenburg
Race 11: Tuesday, November 24 – Kungälv
Race 12 (FINAL!): Tuesday, December 15 – Gothenburg

Create your driver profile on Sodi World Series and collect points throughout the year. The winner will receive a ticket to the 2027 World Karting Championship!

Open competition for children up to 14 years of age.
No prior knowledge is required to participate, and staff will be on hand to give our drivers tips and advice on how to develop according to their own abilities.

OGP Kids is run in two different groups depending on the driver's previous experience;

GREEN Group – For those who are driving OGP Kids for the first time and have only driven a few sessions before. Here, all drivers drive at our normal speed on the go-karts.

RED Group – For those who have competed in many OGP Kids competitions with us before and have passed our Speedkart limit. Here, all drivers race with Speedkart and weigh at least 50 kg.

Meeting time: 5 :45 p.m.

Preview: 6 :00 p.m.

Start: 6 :15 p.m.

competition format

Time trial 2 x 9 flying laps (5 laps on the outdoor/indoor track) - the aim here is to set the best lap time. Everyone goes to the final, but the lap time in the qualifying determines which final and which place you start in.

Finals
A-final 16 laps, B-final 15 laps, C-final 14 laps, D-final 14 laps.

Finals outdoor/indoor
A-final 10 laps, B-final 9 laps, C-final 8 laps, D-final 8 laps.

SEK 595 per participant
Maximum 40 participants per competition day
Register in advance online (link above) or on site on the day (subject to availability).

Registration closes at midnight on the day of the competition. If you fall ill, please call us so we can transfer your registration to the next competition instead.
