The weekend of December 8-10, our facility in Kungälv will host SRKC 2023, popularly known as the Swedish Championship in karting. Here, over 110 go-kart drivers from all over the world will compete for the victory and the title of Swedish Champion 2023. 

The competition is divided into a total of 3 days but most drivers prepare several weeks before. On Friday 8/12 there is a training session on the schedule where the drivers have the opportunity to practice from 10.00-21.00 on the track. New for this year's championship is also that some of the competition rounds will be run in reverse on the track. All to reduce the home advantage, but also to add excitement for the audience. 

On Saturday and Sunday there is competition with a total of 5 qualification rounds per driver on Saturday. 2 of these are time qualifiers where the best lap time determines the points and 3 are qualifying races of 12 laps where position determines the points. Sunday's schedule includes semi-finals and finals in the different classes mini, junior and overall. Here the final winner is chosen.
